Meet Your Alpharetta Dentists
The Alpharetta dental practice of Stone Dental Associates moved to its current location at 4205 North Point Parkway, Building E, in Alpharetta, Georgia, in 1998. We had the goal of providing state-of-the-art treatment for our patients when we set up our office. We fitted our operatory rooms with monitors, intraoral cameras and digital X-ray and photography equipment. We created a comfortable waiting area. We also made options such as nitrous oxide available for our patients with anxiety or extensive dental needs at our North Fulton cosmetic dentistry practice.
Dr. Dale Stone
Dr. Dale was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He attended the University of South Florida and received a bachelor’s degree from the College of Natural Science in 1982. In 1986, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry. He has continued his dental studies at LVI (Las Vegas Institute of Higher Learning) and master level Graduate Synergy Training in Dental Implants.
Dr. Reneé Stone
Dr. Reneé is originally from western Pennsylvania. She received her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from West Virginia University, where she graduated cum laude. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1987. She is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association. She has continued her dental studies at LVI (Las Vegas Institute of Higher Learning) and master level Graduate Synergy Training in Dental Implants.
Dr. Dale and Dr. Reneé met while at Emory and later married. They have two children and have made Alpharetta their home since 1995.
Dr. Colin Stone
Dr. Colin Stone was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA. Some would say that he was destined to join his parents as the third dentist in the direct family, but he says the story is a bit more convoluted. He completed his undergraduate degrees in Biology and Psychology at the University of Georgia. Following, he completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA where he received a certificate in honors esthetic and implant dentistry as well as the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics outstanding senior award.
Following graduation, he wasted no time furthering his education and completed the Advanced Implant Residency Program at the Foundry Dental Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
When Dr. Colin isn’t at the office, he enjoys spending time in the outdoors with friends and family, fly fishing, golfing, or cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs in Athens. His main goal in dentistry is making patients feel comfortable by providing as much comprehensive care possible.
Dr. Sydney Stone
Dr. Sydney was born and raised in Alpharetta, GA. She completed her undergraduate Biological Science degree with Honors at the University of Georgia. She later completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. She continues to commit herself to continuing education in dentistry, attending annual Hinman and state meetings. She plans to focus on esthetic dentistry at Stone Dental Associates.
Outside of the dental office, she enjoys playing tennis, running, and watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Pittsburgh Steelers. She looks forward to meeting our patients and helping them achieve the smile they desire while providing the most quality care.
